Jointly organized by Cyberport and Rotary International District 3450 with an emphasis on sustainability and technology. This competition aims to recruit creative and feasible park design proposals that could be implemented in a smart park from young people and the general public including professionals from different background, to enhance the park environment for the public, taking reference from the Tsuen Wan Tai Mo Shan Rotary Park, Cyberport Waterfront Park or other public facilities.

Investing into the concepts of ‘Smart’ and ‘Co-Create’, we proposed a series of prototypes that revolve around an interactive loop system to power the daily operations of the park, ultimately aiming to benefit both the park and its users. The design concept intends to strengthen the connection between the park and its enjoyers with a reciprocal "give and take" relationship. The Smart Loop works with one of the most essential energies - electricity, to prompt interaction between the park and its enjoyers. In the Smart Electricity Cycle, the main idea is that we, as users, generate electricity from exercising in the Park, whether it is from the piezoelectric running track or the gym loops. The cycle between nature and man is therefore dynamic and interconnected, in which one action always provokes the other, operating similarly to the principle of gear wheels. To further enhance user’s experience and establish a stronger interrelationship with the park, a mobile application is proposed to keep track of the electricity generation and physical activity, acting as an incentive to encourage users to exercise habitually at the park.
